Our main summer 4x4 Land Rover Rally this year will take place over the weekend of the 14th and 15th July 2007. The two-day driving route will take Landy drivers, their friends and families along minor roads and green lanes through some of the most unspoilt and beautiful parts of the west of Poland. Along the route geocaches will be placed for participants to try and locate using GPS coordinates, maps and clues. The rally can be started at any time during the day. However, all participants should aim to complete all the tasks and find all the off-road locations before arriving at the same destination as every other participant sometime in the evening. Participants are free to chose what sort of accommodation (camping, guest houses, hotels) they want themselves. The following morning rally participants drive off to find the next set of destinations on the rally route. This is done at their own pace and using their own routes. The event is not any sort of 'race' or in any way 'extreme'. The weekend Land Rover rally follows a roughly circular route and starts and ends close to the German/Polish border (just over an one hour's drive east of Berlin). The event is a non-damaging, relaxed, and hopefully fun event suitable for Land Rover enthusiasts of all ages and Land Rovers of all ages and models.

To avoid too much disruption to locals, participant numbers are limited. Early registration is therefore recommended.

Rally participants are free to join and leave the rally at any point to do their own thing. It is a relaxed event and not intended to be a convoy-type rally. At the end of the Rally (on the Sunday evening) an informal campfire gathering will be arranged on privately-owned land in the Polish countryside for all participants to meet up and compare Land Rovers and share opinions on everything from the ease or difficulty found in completing the various rally tasks and challenges to the state of Polish roads, and quality of Polish sausages and beer!

This Land Rover Rally is free to take part in. Apart from that just bring yourself, friends, family and your Land Rover and come and have some fun in Poland with your Landy.
